Being Bored at Home

Self isolation can feel like an ordinary day for some but eventually that feeling goes away and you want to do anything to keep yourself busy (except anything productive, gross) However, this is the perfect time to focus on yourself and do as much as possible not only to keep yourself busy but also feel better about yourself. Below are some activities that you can do if you feel like it or force yourself to do, the choice is yours.

  • Declutter your surroundings- if you want it can just be your room or the bare minimum, your wardrobe, regardless what you do will give you that feeling of accomplishment and also comfort.

  • Read a book – we all have those books that are probably just decorations now, if you are bored on social media seeing the same stuff all the time, perhaps its time for something refreshing.

  • Work out – even just running around in your garden can make you feel a whole lot better, plus with summer coming up you can feel better about yourself since you’ll be outside more and not get tired from everything you plan to do.

  • Bake – if you cant go out and buy something sweet, you can bake something like a cake and work on your skills as you have plenty of time and the more you work at it, the sweeter the reward...

  • Learn a language – holiday season is inbound, need I say more?

  • Talk to your family and friends, this is a lonely time but thankfully there’s always video calling or even just texting so you aren’t alone
